How to care for 14K Gold-Filled Jewellery
Do not use a chemical jewellery cleaner or treated cloths. 14k gold filled products are resistant to tarnishing because the outside layer is actually gold and is thick enough to prevent oxidation of the inner material. We recommend minimizing exposure to moisture and chemicals such as perfumes, saltwater and chlorine in swimming pools as they take their toll on fine jewellery. Use mild liquid dish soap (the best is the blue Dawn) and water to remove oil build up, then dry it thoroughly with a clean soft cloth.

The best way to care for your pearls is to wear them as often as possible, it is because our body’s natural oils keep pearls lustrous. However, it is important to keep the pearls away from chemical including lotion, makeup, hairspray and perfume. All these will dull the pearls’ luster. It is good to put on your pearls after dressing up and take off your pearl when you come home. When you take off the pearls, remember to wipe them with clean soft cloth and place it separately from other jewellery to avoid scratching the surface.
